Simon Furnivall Lambert (BSc Hons) established Furnivall Finecrafts in 2003.
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, it is a small business and specialises in creating handmade wooden furniture solutions.
"I developed an appreciation for wood at an early age, after my parents gave me some good quality basic tools and encouraged my early attempts to make things. Some years later I studied more specifically in order to get a better understanding of the nature of wood and how best to work with it to produce unique pieces."
